Description

General Objective

To deepen the bases of adequate haemodynamic monitoring and guarantee an optimal level of care for patients admitted to the surgical and peri-surgical area - Post Anaesthesia Recovery Unit (URPA), Resuscitation Unit (REA) - and who require specific techniques.

To facilitate critical thinking, encourage research and promote lines of research related to the role of the nurse anaesthetist (according to IFNA - International Federation of Nurse Anaesthetists).

To promote the incorporation of the anaesthesia nurse in the care of patients in the peri-surgical area or those who must undergo an anaesthetic technique or pain treatment and management that improves the patient's quality of life and reduces peri-surgical risk, achieving a higher level of safety and efficiency. To provide participants with the theoretical and practical knowledge that will offer them the necessary competence to collaborate with the anaesthesiologist in all phases of anaesthesia and extend their scope of autonomous work to all those areas that require a professional with training in anaesthesia, resuscitation and pain management.

Graduates in nursing.
