Complications of endovenous treatment
Endovenous treatment is used in most patients who are hospitalized to solve a health requirement, either to manage pain, an infection, treat a disease, among others.
Administering fluids through the veins may cause some complications, among them we find: infiltration, extravasation and phlebitis, which may in turn leave consequences such as hematomas, thrombophlebitis, thrombosis, among others.
